Ampass is a municipality with 1828 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022) in the district of Innsbruck-Land in the Austrian state of Tyrol. The municipality is located in the judicial district of Hall in Tirol. Ampass is located southeast of Innsbruck in the southeastern low mountain range.

Historical buildings

    Ansitz Taschenlehen: The building core dates back to the end of the 15th century, in the first half of the 17th century it was baroqueized. Before 1694 the farm was called Lehen in der Achleite.
    Ansitz Wallpach/Schwanenfeld/Stachler: The building, now used as a farmhouse, dates back to the 16th and 17th centuries and served as the summer residence of the ennobled Hall craftsman family Wallpach.
    The Widum, a Wittum (parsonage), late Gothic at its core, extended in 1674 in Baroque style.
